About Hamilton
Hamilton Pevec is an ethnomycologist, entrepreneur, and filmmaker who has dedicated his career to advancing medicinal mushroom efficacy and mycological science. He is president of the Western Colorado Mycological Association and founder of Hamilton’s Mushrooms, a premium mushroom extract company. As an advisor to Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Hamilton contributed to the Natural Medicinal Health Act rule-making, and he continues to be a trailblazer for mushroom product development standards within the state. Hamilton lectures frequently at mycological societies nationwide and is an organizer and guide for multiple international fungi forays. His documentary mini-series featuring renowned mycologists and rare fungi stories has received over 100K views. Hamilton is actively involved in the Telluride Mushroom Festival, North America’s largest mushroom festival, and his company, Hamilton’s Mushrooms, supplies mushrooms and extracts to the world’s leading mushroom brands.
