I was referring to the findings from this study: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5710842/ ; It is understood that patients with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) have lower levels of morning cortisol and a less steep diurnal cortisol slope. They gave 45 patients with GAD chamomile and measured cortisol levels at different time points, as well as anxiety symptom assessments, finding improvements. I take Skullcap at night to help me sleep. It seems to work well. I do alternate that occasionally with PassionFlower. What is your info on Skullcap?
