Hello Cassandra, Thank you for your great posts, may I ask when you say beneficial results in cortisol patterns with chamomile do you mean reducing excess cortisol. Assuming that is the case but would love to confirm. Thank you, Anne

Sure! I was referring to the findings from this study: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5710842/ ; It is understood that patients with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) have lower levels of morning cortisol and a less steep diurnal cortisol slope. They gave 45 patients with GAD chamomile and measured cortisol levels at different time points, as well as anxiety symptom assessments, finding improvements. whenever i do sleepy time herbs

i get all my rem sleep

and so wake up earlier

so i stick with a lettuce salad at night

I take Skullcap at night to help me sleep. It seems to work well. I do alternate that occasionally with PassionFlower. What is your info on Skullcap?
