Ohh - this is a great question! I recently saw a talk about a team using generative AI to generate antibiotic structures based on a learning model on structural features of antibiotics and their activities against different bacterial targets. It has shown some promise. I'd love to see how we could use machine learning and maybe even generative AI to optimize SAR on natural products.
